Slainte Seminars
By now we all know how and why we started Slainte Retreats, we wanted to build a community - what we *didn’t* know at that time was that we were creating a safe space for women to ask questions, share stories over life cycle experiences and feel supported by each other.
No woman should have to navigate these changes alone, and the reality is there is just not enough help or education available for women’s health.
So we are delighted to have introduced Slainte Seminars - the focus being on specialized health topics such as mindfulness, menstrual cycle, peri-menopause, menopause, fertility, pelvic floor, pre/post-natal, training the female athlete, and much more.
Next Seminar:
Our long-time friend and speaker, Lorraine Kearney of New York City Nutrition, will speak to us about Gut Health in a two-part series, to ensure everything is explained thoroughly and understood. While it is recommended to attend both seminars, it is not essential, nor do you have to attend the first to understand the second, or vice-versa :)
Seminar Part 1: Gut Health
Understanding what Gut Health is
Discussing the Gut and Brain Connection
Diving deep into the gut microbiome and how to improve it holistically through diet
How to naturally increase GLP-1 hormone in the gut
And more!
Date: Tuesday, March 19th
Time: 6.30 - 8 pm
Location: KNOSIS, 7 West 22nd Street, 8th Floor, NY, 10010
Price: $35 - Zelle: info@slainteretreats.com
Part 2 in the series will focus on hormones and the effect dietary choices can have on different female life cycles such as the menstrual cycle, perimenopause, and menopause. Full details to be shared shortly, with the seminar being hosted in April.
